The event was attended by the delegation from the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam, UNISFA mission leaders, and local authorities.
The journey to education for Abyei's students has been fraught with challenges. At Minyang Primary School, weather conditions had damaged the school, tearing off roofs and forcing students to study in inadequate conditions, using the red earth as desks.
Understanding this situation, Engineering Unit No. 4 proactively deployed personnel and resources to repair and reinforce the four-classroom building. They meticulously crafted 60 new sets of wooden desks and chairs, prepared blackboards, and provided school supplies, creating a safe and well-equipped learning environment for the students.

We believe this school will be a place to nurture knowledge and dreams for future generations of Abyei students.
For Vietnam, peacekeeping is not just about maintaining security but also about building a foundation through education and improving the quality of life for the people.
Every improved classroom is a gateway to knowledge; every smile from the children is a motivation for Vietnamese Blue Berets to continue their dedicated service, spreading the humanitarian and professional image of 'Bo doi Cu Ho' for a peaceful world, leaving no one behind.”
