On the sidelines of the Vietnam–Japan Local Cooperation Forum on November 25 in Ha Long ward, Quang Ninh province, Mr. Kenta Kawanabe - General Director of Thang Long Industrial Park Corporation granted an interview to The World and Vietnam Report about Vietnam's potential to attract foreign direct investment (FDI), including investors from Japan.

The countdown has begun for the grand Signing Ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, to be held in Hanoi. The national flags of more than 100 countries will fly high over the capital’s sky, symbolizing a Vietnam’s imprint on the global map of international cooperation. The signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, themed “Combating Cybercrime – Sharing Responsibility – Shaping the Future”, will take place in Hanoi from October 25 to 26, 2025.

State President Luong Cuong will preside over the signing ceremony, with the participation of UN Secretary-General António Guterres, along with senior leaders from various countries, regional organizations, and international institutions.

The event will feature a high-level plenary discussion, ministerial roundtables, and several side conferences on international cooperation in combating cybercrime.

Immediately after his talks with Member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste Bendito dos Santos Freitas granted an exclusive interview with The World and Vietnam Report, sharing the key focuses of his visit to Vietnam and expressed strong expectations for enhanced cooperation, both at the bilateral level and within ASEAN.
