With the theme “Heritage Journey, Connecting Roots”, delegates will visit and explore numerous significant cultural heritages of Vietnam, including UNESCO-listed sites such as the Complex of Hue Monuments, My Son Sanctuary, Hoi An Ancient Town, and the Royal Court Music of Hue.

The program harmoniously combines traditional education activities, historical exploration, cultural experiences, and Vietnamese language enhancement, thereby igniting national pride and fostering a bond with the homeland among the young overseas Vietnamese generation.

Within the program's framework, the delegation will participate in meaningful activities such as visiting the Ho Chi Minh President's Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, Kim Lien Relic Site (Nghe An); offering incense in memory of heroic martyrs at Long Dai Ferry II and Gac Ma Soldier Memorial; learning about maritime sovereignty at the Hoang Sa Exhibition House and Nha Trang Oceanographic Institute; interacting with officers and soldiers of the Naval Academy; experiencing traditional martial arts of Tay Son and exploring astronomy at the Quy Nhon Science Discovery Center, along with various cultural, sports exchanges, and games honoring the Vietnamese language.

A highlight of Vietnam Summer Camp 2026 is the meetings and exchanges with notable overseas Vietnamese intellectuals and artists, including Prof. Dr. Thai Kim Lan (a Vietnamese expatriate in Germany) at the Huong River Ancient Ceramics Museum and the Le Ba Dang Memorial Space (a Vietnamese expatriate in France).

Through these activities, the program contributes to spreading Vietnamese cultural values, affirming the role and contributions of the overseas Vietnamese community to the country's development.

Organized annually since 2004, Vietnam Summer Camp is an initiative led by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with various ministries, sectors, and localities.

Over more than two decades, the program has attracted thousands of young Vietnamese expatriates to return to their homeland, enhancing community connections, strengthening national cultural identity, and nurturing the affection and responsibility of the young overseas Vietnamese generation towards their homeland and country.

As the country enters a new phase of development, Vietnam Summer Camp continues to affirm its role as one of the key activities in implementing the Party and State's policies concerning overseas Vietnamese; leveraging the resources of the overseas Vietnamese community, especially the younger generation, in the mission of building and developing a prosperous and happy nation.
