European Overseas Vietnamese build classroom for disadvantaged children in Thai Nguyen
WVR - On May 24, in Nghia Ta Commune, Thai Nguyen Province, the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, under Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in collaboration with local authorities organized a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new classroom for Binh Trung Kindergarten.

The project is funded by nearly 500 million VND from the Overseas Vietnamese Golf Association in Europe and the Golf Club Co nguon.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese; Mr. Nong Van Duong – Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghia Ta Commune; representatives from the Overseas Vietnamese Golf Association in Europe, Golf Club Co nguon, along with the Board of Management, teachers of Binh Trung Kindergarten, and representatives from local departments and agencies.

According to the plan, the new classroom for children aged 3-4 will be constructed with all necessary facilities for learning, activities, rest, and a self-contained sanitation area, contributing to improving teaching and learning conditions for students in the disadvantaged areas of Thai Nguyen Province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien emphasized that over the years, the overseas Vietnamese community has always upheld the spirit of solidarity, supporting their homeland through various activities in education, healthcare, and social welfare in disadvantaged localities.
The classroom project at Binh Trung Kindergarten is a testament to the affection, responsibility, and sharing of overseas Vietnamese towards the future generations of the country.

He also acknowledged and praised the noble gesture of the Overseas Vietnamese Golf Association in Europe, Golf Club Co nguon, and individuals and members who contributed to this meaningful project; highly appreciating the cooperation of local authorities and the school in the construction process.
Representing the Overseas Vietnamese Golf Association in Europe, Golf Club Co nguon, Mr. Vu Duc Hop stated that the project is the heartfelt contribution of expatriates wishing to support children in difficult areas to have better learning conditions. He expressed hope that the classroom would soon be completed and put into use, enhancing the learning environment for the children.

On behalf of the locality, Mr. Nong Van Duong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghia Ta Commune, expressed gratitude for the attention and support of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese and the organizations and individuals who have accompanied the locality in education care. He also urged the construction unit to ensure the project's progress and quality for early use.
Immediately after the ceremony, the delegates performed the groundbreaking ritual for the new classroom construction in a solemn and enthusiastic atmosphere.
