Welcoming the delegation were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao PDR to Vietnam Khamphao Eunthavanh, officials and staff of the Lao Embassy in Vietnam.
Speaking with Lao Ambassador Khamphao Eunthavanh, Deputy Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong highly appreciated the great and historic achievements that the Lao Party, State and people have obtained over the past 70 years.
Recognizing that these achievements not only create a solid foundation for the cause of safeguarding and developing Laos but also contribute to consolidating the special solidarity between the two countries, while promoting peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world, the Deputy Minister also expressed his delight at the increasingly profound and effective development of Vietnam - Laos relations in all fields. The political relations between the two Parties and States are increasingly close, while cooperation in economics, security, defense, foreign affairs, culture and science - technology continues to be promoted.
Especially, emphasizing the successful coordination between the two countries in organizing the recent high-level meeting between the leaders of the three parties of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia, the Deputy Minister hoped that the two sides will continue to cooperate closely to prepare for important upcoming foreign affairs activities.
Affirming that the Party, State and people of Vietnam always attach great importance to and give top priority to developing the special Vietnam-Laos relationship, the Deputy Minister expressed his deep gratitude for the great support and assistance that the Lao Party, State and people have given to Vietnam up to now.
Ambassador Khamphao Eunthavanh expressed her sincere gratitude to Deputy Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong, the Party Committee, leaders and staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam for their visit and congratulations.
The year 2025 is significant for both countries, as it marks many important commemorative events and key regional and international meetings. The Ambassador expressed her hope that Laos and Vietnam will continue to strengthen their close and friendly relations through extensive cooperation and increased delegation exchanges at both central and local levels.

Ambassador Khamphao Eunthavanh affirmed that Laos' achievements have always been supported by the Party, National Assembly, Government, and people of Vietnam. She, along with the staff of the Lao Embassy, personally pledged to continue striving and working more effectively with Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strengthen the bridge between the two countries.
Ambassador Khamphao Eunthavanh once again expressed her gratitude to the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its constant support of the Lao Embassy and its thorough preparations for all exchanges and meetings between the leaders of both sides. She hopes that Vietnam and Laos will continue to uphold their strong traditional friendship and closely coordinate efforts to achieve even greater positive outcomes in the future.
