The Hanoi Convention – Vietnam’s Mark on the Global Map of International Cooperation

The countdown has begun for the grand Signing Ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, to be held in Hanoi. The national flags of more than 100 countries will fly high over the capital’s sky, symbolizing a Vietnam’s imprint on the global map of international cooperation. To gain a deeper understanding of the significance of the so-called “Hanoi Convention” and Vietnam’s efforts and contributions to this milestone, The World and Vietnam Report spoke with Mr. Nguyen Huu Phu, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Law and Treaties, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, and Mr. Glen Prichard, Chief of the Global Cybercrime Programme, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), in the Talkshow titled “The Hanoi Convention - Vietnam’s Mark on the Global Map of International Cooperation”.
