Following the success of the national achievements exhibition “80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness”, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính has tasked the Ministry of Industry and Trade to lead and coordinate with relevant ministries, agencies, localities, and units to organize the Autumn Fair 2025 in October. This aims to create a channel to promote trade, investment, consumption, economic connectivity, and boost domestic production as well as import and export activities.
The directive clearly states that following the success of the national achievements exhibition “80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness”, to boost the domestic market, stimulate consumption, connect supply and demand, and supply chains, contributing to the economic growth target of over 8% in 2025, following directives No. 8609/VPCP-KTTH dated September 12 and No. 8894/VPCP-KTTH dated September 19, the Prime Minister has tasked the Ministry of Industry and Trade to lead and coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vingroup, the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), and other relevant ministries, agencies, localities, and units to urgently organize the Autumn Fair 2025 in October 2025. This aims to create a channel to promote trade, investment, consumption, economic connectivity, trade, goods, industry, agriculture, services, and boost domestic production and import-export activities.
To successfully organize the Autumn Fair 2025 at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre (VEC), expected from October 20, 2025, to November 5, 2025, to meet the set requirements, the Prime Minister directs:
1. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will lead and closely coordinate with relevant agencies to thoroughly prepare the conditions to organize the Fair across the entire space at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), ensuring practicality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, security, and safety. Organize trade connection activities for organizations, businesses, and investors participating in the Fair with domestic and international partners; encourage businesses to actively introduce and sell products, services, and technology to consumers through the Fair.
2. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize spaces and cultural activities, commercialize cultural products, promote culinary culture, traditional costumes, tourism, programs to boost the cultural industry, entertainment industry, and organize other cultural events during the Fair.
3. The Ministry of Finance will lead and coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to guide and allocate funds to organize the Fair according to legal regulations, ensuring cost-effectiveness, safety, and efficiency.
4. Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, and other media agencies will actively promote information about the Fair widely to the public, businesses, and investors both domestically and internationally.
5. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will direct embassies and Vietnamese representative agencies abroad to widely promote information about the Autumn Fair 2025 to businesses and organizations in the host countries; invite businesses and organizations from host countries to participate in the Fair; organize business delegations to interact, cooperate, transact, and connect economically with Vietnam through the Fair.
6. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, other central agencies, and People's Committees of provinces and cities directly under the Central Government will participate in the Fair and mobilize and organize for affiliated businesses and those in their localities to participate in the Fair; widely promote information about the Fair to the community of businesses, organizations, industry associations, etc., within their management scope, ensuring diverse and rich products that leverage the strengths of each industry, field, locality, and region.
7. The People's Committee of Hanoi will coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vingroup to widely communicate to the public; arrange and enhance public transportation routes to serve transportation activities, bringing and picking up visitors to the Fair; urgently research expanding segments and routes connecting with the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC).
8. State corporations and companies at central and local levels will actively participate in the Fair, consider and select unique and typical products to promote products, services, and brands, enhancing trade and investment promotion.
9. Deputy Prime Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn is assigned to directly and regularly oversee all aspects of the organization of the Fair by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and relevant ministries, agencies, localities, and business units.
10. The Government Office will monitor and urge according to assigned functions and tasks; promptly coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and relevant ministries, agencies, and localities to report to competent authorities on issues arising beyond their authority.
