Academy of Finance hosts activities to celebrate Vietnam Science, Technology, and Innovation Day on May 18

The event was attended by Party leaders, National Assembly members, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, leaders from the Ministry of Finance, representatives from central ministries and agencies, international guest delegates, and representatives from over 200 businesses, partners, and a large number of scientists, lecturers, and students from the Academy of Finance.
A Strategic Shift in the Digital Era
After more than 63 years of establishment and development, the Academy of Finance has continuously affirmed its position as one of the leading institutions in training, research, and consultancy in the country's economic and financial sectors.
In the context of the 14th Party Congress Resolution identifying “science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as the main drivers” for the 2026-2030 development phase, this series of events holds special strategic significance. It also serves as a declaration of the Academy of Finance's spirit of innovation and aspiration for integration in the new era.

The new brand identity aims to affirm the core educational philosophy “Tai – Tam – Chinh”, where: “Tai” represents intelligence and professional competence; “Tam” signifies responsibility and professional ethics; “Chinh” stands for standards, transparency, and social service.
This is not merely a change in logo design or external identity system but a synthesis of tradition and modernity, academic identity, and integration spirit, clearly reflecting the Academy's sustainable development orientation.
A notable highlight is the official introduction of the mascot FINGO – the Scholar Eagle, symbolizing the courage, intelligence, and aspiration to soar high of the Academy of Finance's student generation in the digital age.
Along with the new brand identity, the Academy of Finance officially launched the Electronic Information Portal and Digital Education Ecosystem with a modern, user-friendly interface optimized for multi-platform display.
This is a concrete step towards realizing the comprehensive digital transformation goal in the Academy's management, training, and communication, aiming to build a "Smart Academy" model that promotes transparency and enhances service quality for learners.
Connecting State – Academia – Enterprises
Following the success of the 1st Cooperation and Development Forum in 2025, the 2nd Forum gathered representatives from state management agencies, academia, and the business community to discuss the orientation for training high-quality financial human resources in the digital era.
To date, the Academy of Finance has signed cooperation agreements with over 200 organizations, enterprises, banks, and universities both domestically and internationally.
Within the Forum's framework, the Academy of Finance signed cooperation agreements with 15 prominent enterprises and partners, including the School of Training and Professional Development of Auditing-State Audit, Vietnam Social Security, Viettel Telecommunications Corporation, Geleximco Group, Muong Thanh Group, Vietnam Lottery Company (Vietlott), RSM Vietnam Auditing and Consulting Company, Intracom University, InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 Hotel, Hanoi Tourism Association, and others.

Additionally, the Forum featured reputable speakers with in-depth presentations such as: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Kim Trung – Former Deputy Director of the Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM); Mr. Bui Thanh Minh – Standing Deputy General Director of MISA Group; Mr. Nguyen Viet Long – Deputy General Director of Ernst & Young Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Dr. Nguyen Minh Phong – Former Deputy Director, Deputy Head of Theoretical Propaganda Department of Nhan Dan Newspaper.
This series of events is also a practical activity in response to Vietnam Science, Technology, and Innovation Day on May 18, with the 2026 theme “Science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation – The main drivers of the growth model”, as stipulated in the Science, Technology, and Innovation Law of 2025.
