Ambassador Duong Hoai Nam emphasized that the swift response and substantial contributions this time reflect the profound spirit of “mutual affection and mutual aid” of the Vietnamese community in Czech, with the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Czech always leading in charitable activities aimed at the homeland.
He noted that in 2024, following Typhoon Yagi, the Vietnamese community in Czech also contributed 5.7 billion VND, becoming one of the earliest and most significant contributors to those affected in Vietnam.
The Ambassador expressed confidence that the tradition of compassion, solidarity, and focus on the homeland will continue to be maintained and strongly promoted within the Vietnamese community in Czech and abroad.
