This is considered one of the most prestigious rankings in the global travel industry. With a history of over three decades, the Reader's Choice Awards is likened to the “voice of travelers”, serving as a crucial measure of international travel trends and service quality.

This year, Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam proudly leads the rankings in Asia, with a total score of 95.51/100. The evaluation criteria are based on satisfaction with the destination in terms of service quality, scenery, beach beauty, unique cuisine, and hospitality.

The impressive score also places Vietnam's pearl island in the top 3 globally, following two representatives from the USA, Kiawah and Hilton Head, and surpassing other renowned names such as Maldives (92.31), Maui (93.35), Bali (89.84), and Phuket (84.62).

With a 150km long coastline and a vast national park, Phu Quoc is likened to “a tropical gem” in Southeast Asia.

Previously, the World's Best Awards 2024 organized by the renowned travel magazine Travel Leisure also honored Phú Quốc as the second-best island in the world, following Maldives.

Phu Quoc also made it to the list of the 10 most beautiful islands in Asia according to DestinAsian. Additionally, the island has been rated as a top beach destination globally by Lonely Planet—a travel guidebook publisher—and praised by the Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo as a destination that satisfies “all five senses” of visitors.
