On the afternoon of September 27 in Hanoi, Intrepid, the world's largest adventure travel company, celebrated its 20th anniversary, marking significant milestones for the development of the domestic tourism industry.
Intrepid Travel Co-founder Geoff Manchester shared: “Vietnam has always been a key destination for Intrepid Travel since the early days. Celebrating 20 years of operation here reflects the trust and cooperation from our partners, our dedicated team, and the communities that have welcomed Intrepid travelers from around the world. We are proud of what we have built together and will continue to develop responsible tourism in Vietnam in the future.”
At the event, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Ha Van Sieu informed that since the beginning of 2025, Vietnam has welcomed 380,000 visitors from Australia, mostly through Intrepid.
“Vietnam's tourism in 2025 aims to welcome 22-25 million international visitors, and we have high expectations for the Australian market. In early October, there will be a roadshow introducing Vietnam tourism in Sydney and Melbourne. Intrepid is the bridge bringing Australian tourists to Vietnam, conveying the message of a beautiful and attractive Vietnam to Australian visitors,” said Ha Van Sieu.
