In his opening remarks, Hanoi UNESCO Association President Truong Minh Tien stated that this year's festival gathers over 400 artists and performers, representing nearly 1,600 members from 25 clubs, centers, and art troupes affiliated with 38 units of the association. This not only reflects the scale of the event but also demonstrates the vitality, influence, and cohesion of the UNESCO art movement.
According to Mr. Truong Minh Tien, it is commendable that most members participating in the movement are around 60 years old, with many over 70, 80, and even close to 90, yet they still maintain their passion, enthusiasm, and eagerness to perform on stage. The movement also attracts young members, disabled members with strong willpower, and members from historically distant regions like Tan Trao (Tuyen Quang). Together, they form a united, cohesive, and art-loving UNESCO family.
