Hau Giang currently has 2 Industrial Parks with an area of about 492 hectares in the Chau Thanh and Chau Thanh A districts, with an occupancy rate of over 90%, planning and developing 10 industrial clusters with an area of about 745ha. Especially, the Investment Promotion Conference of Hau Giang province was successfully held in July 2022 with the participation of the Prime Minister, creating many prerequisites and opportunities in attracting investment in the province, attracting 35 domestic investment projects with a total capital of VND 8,000 billion, an increase of VND 1,637 billion over the same period.

Defining sustainable socio-economic development with the orientation “One core, two routes, three cities, four pillars, five centers".
- One core is Developing Chau Thanh district into the center of industrial and urban development of the province in the medium and long term.
- Two routes: Focusing on exploiting and developing along 02 busy highways, namely Can Tho - Ca Mau route connecting with Ho Chi Minh City and Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang route connecting with Nam Song provinces. Queen.
