The international debate competition Concours Inter-Universitaire de Débat de La Haye (known as Débat de La Haye) is an intellectual arena held annually by the Corax Foundation – a non-profit organization based in The Hague, Netherlands – under the patronage of the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and the Institut Français in the Netherlands.
This prestigious and traditional competition sees participation from over 30 universities worldwide. It features many strong teams from top global universities such as the University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, McGill University, and countries where French is an official or native language, including France, Belgium, Canada, and Switzerland.
The year 2026 marks the third consecutive participation of the Diplomatic Academy team in Débat de La Haye. In the previous two seasons, the DAV team achieved impressive results:

In 2025, the team again surpassed the qualifiers, achieving a higher ranking, reaching the TOP 10 overall and TOP 2 in Asia.
This year, with thorough preparation and determined spirit, the DAV team has advanced past the group stage, continuing its streak of achievements. Currently, the team is preparing for the upcoming rounds.
The team members not only represent the Diplomatic Academy but also contribute to promoting Vietnamese knowledge and culture to international friends.
It is hoped that with their resilience and continuous efforts, the DAV students will continue to achieve success, enhancing the Diplomatic Academy's position on the global education map.
