Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Palestine interacts with students of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam
WVR - On November 26, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) welcomed the delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine Varsen Aghabekian for a visit and interaction.

Attending the program from the Diplomatic Academy were DAV Vice President Nguyen Manh Dong, representatives of various departments, and nearly 100 students.
The Palestinian delegation included Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Varsen Aghabekian, Assistant Minister Ameed Abdalrahim, and Palestinian Ambassador to Vietnam Saadi Salama.

This significant event aimed to enhance mutual understanding, promote the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Palestine, and provide students of the Diplomatic Academy with opportunities to interact and learn from international leaders and experts.
In his speech, DAV Vice President Nguyen Manh Dong warmly welcomed the Palestinian delegation. He expressed his delight at Minister Aghabekian's first official visit to Vietnam and the Diplomatic Academy, emphasizing that the interaction was a special event for the Academy. It not only strengthened the Vietnam-Palestine friendship and highlighted both nations' commitment to education but also opened valuable opportunities for students to gain diverse perspectives on diplomacy, politics, culture, and international issues.

Minister Varsen Aghabekian expressed her honor to visit the Diplomatic Academy, which has trained many of Vietnam's distinguished diplomats. She emphasized the strong friendship between Vietnam and Palestine, built over decades through mutual affection, sharing, and support in their respective struggles for national independence and development.
During the interaction, Minister Aghabekian expressed her joy in meeting and exchanging ideas with the students of the Diplomatic Academy, the future diplomats who will continue to serve as bridges in fostering Vietnam-Palestine relations. She further highlighted the historical ties and similarities in the independence struggles of Vietnam and Palestine, expressing deep gratitude for Vietnam's sincere support and invaluable assistance to Palestine over the years.
The Minister also shared the latest developments regarding the situation in Palestine, the Gaza Strip, and the Middle East, which garnered significant interest from the attendees and students present.

The interaction continued with a Q&A session between the students of the Diplomatic Academy and the Palestinian delegation. Minister Aghabekian was deeply appreciative and praised the insightful questions and the genuine sentiments and best wishes from the students for Palestine and its people.
The program concluded with a photo session. Through this activity, students of the Diplomatic Academy gained valuable experiences from hosting and interacting with a high-level diplomatic delegation, enhancing their understanding of Palestine and the Middle East, and acquiring beneficial insights for their studies and research.
