For over a decade, this bond has not only been a political responsibility but has also become a deep connection between those working in foreign affairs and a Mother who dedicated her life to the nation.
Deputy Secretary Chu Duc Dung shared that caring for and supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, contributing to educating the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source” and “Gratitude” among the staff and employees of the Department.
In the small house in the countryside of Tuyen Quang – a land that was once the Capital of the Liberation Zone, the Capital of the Resistance – the meeting was simple yet filled with emotion. The gifts presented were not only of material value but also expressions of gratitude, appreciation, and respect from today's generation for those who made invaluable contributions to the nation's history.
The visit was not only an act of gratitude on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day but also an opportunity for the staff and trade union members of the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps to reflect on the glorious tradition of the nation, fostering patriotism, a sense of responsibility, and gratitude towards those who sacrificed and contributed to the independence and peace of the country.
In the land of Tuyen Quang, rich in revolutionary tradition, the simple yet meaningful meeting contributed to spreading the beautiful humanitarian values, affirming that the principle of gratitude is always preserved and continued by today's generations through practical actions.
