Over 80 years of independence and freedom, Vietnam has established diplomatic relations with 194 countries, including 38 Comprehensive Strategic Partners, Strategic Partners, and Comprehensive Partners; established relations with 259 political parties from 119 countries; participated in 17 bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements; successfully obtained 73 UNESCO titles and heritage recognitions; and is a member of over 70 intergovernmental and regional organizations worldwide. | Each document and artifact vividly illustrates the role of Vietnamese diplomacy in creating and maintaining a peaceful, stable environment and maximizing external resources and favourable conditions to serve the country's strategic goals, enhancing Vietnam's position on the international stage. Notable artifacts include the Declaration of Independence (September 2, 1945), the Geneva Agreement on the cessation of hostilities in Vietnam (July 21, 1954), the Paris Agreement on ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam (January 27, 1973), a book with 10,000 signatures from the Cuban people supporting Vietnam, the UN General Assembly resolution admitting Vietnam as a UN member (1977), and the decision on Vietnam's accession to the WTO (2006)... | The exhibition space is divided into three sections, vividly recreating the pivotal events of Vietnamese diplomacy over eight decades. Section 1 "Diplomacy Serving the Cause of Liberation and National Construction (1945–1986)" highlights the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from its inception under the guidance of President Ho Cho Minh, with historical milestones such as the Dien Bien Phu victory (1954) and the Paris Agreement (1973). Section 2 "Vietnamese Diplomacy in the Era of Opening, Integration, and Growth (1986–present)" showcases artifacts and documents on major milestones such as Vietnam's admission to ASEAN (1995), normalizing relations with the U.S. (1995), and joining the World Trade Organization (WTO) (2007). | At the Kim Quy exhibition hall, the delegation explored six exhibition spaces with themes such as "Vietnam - Country - People"; "95 Years of the Party's Guiding Light"; "Creating Development"; "Prosperous Province, Strong Nation"; "Economic Locomotive"; "Startup for Nation Building". Through this, members gained a deeper understanding of the role and mission of the press, including external relations journalism, in the current integration phase. It also heightened awareness of political responsibility and professional expertise, providing motivation to continue accompanying and serving the country on its new journey, contributing to spreading the image of a peaceful, friendly, dynamic, and developing Vietnam.
