The delegation from the Party Central Committee's Commission for Policies and Strategies was led by Nguyen Kim Son, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, and Deputy Head of the Commission for Policies and Strategies. They were received by Dr. Tran Hai Linh, a member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of VKBIA, and Founding Chairman of the Vietnam – Korea Experts and Intellectuals Association (VKEIA), along with the leadership of the Association and representatives of member enterprises.

The meeting took place in an open, frank, and constructive atmosphere, aiming to understand the Association's activities, evaluate the results achieved in business connectivity, investment promotion, trade, science and technology, education, and culture between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea. It also aimed to listen to practical proposals and recommendations to contribute to the improvement of mechanisms and policies to promote bilateral cooperation in the new development phase.
Reporting to the delegation, Dr. Tran Hai Linh stated that over the years, VKBIA has continuously played its role as a bridge between the business community, localities, central management agencies, and partners of the two countries. It has implemented numerous activities to promote investment, trade connectivity, scientific and technological cooperation, digital transformation, education, human resource training, and cultural exchange, contributing to deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.
From practical activities, the Association has proposed many recommendations to continue improving mechanisms and policies to support Vietnamese businesses investing and operating in the Republic of Korea and Korean businesses investing effectively and sustainably in Vietnam. It has also sought to enhance connectivity mechanisms between policy-making agencies and the business community and promote cooperation in potential areas such as innovation, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, digital transformation, high technology, green economy, education, and the development of high-quality human resources.
Speaking at the meeting, Nguyen Kim Son highly appreciated the achievements of VKBIA in recent times, especially its role in connecting the business community, experts, intellectuals, and localities of the two countries, contributing to strengthening economic cooperation, investment, and people-to-people exchanges between the two nations.
He emphasized: “The opinions and recommendations gathered by VKBIA from the practical activities of the business, expert, and intellectual community are of practical significance for the research, advisory, and completion of development policies in the new phase.

Enhancing dialogue between policy-making agencies and businesses and social organizations will contribute to bringing the Party's guidelines and the State's policies into life, creating additional momentum to promote economic cooperation, science and technology, innovation, education, culture, and investment between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.”
Nguyen Kim Son expressed his hope that VKBIA will continue to play its role as a reputable connecting organization, actively reflecting issues from practical experiences, contributing many initiatives and solutions to research, policy-making, and creating a favorable environment for businesses to develop and integrate internationally.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Tran Hai Linh affirmed that VKBIA will continue to accompany the country's development policies in the new era, playing its role as a bridge between businesses, experts, localities, and agencies of the two countries, contributing to bringing the major guidelines of the Party and the State into practical international cooperation.
Dr. Tran Hai Linh emphasised: “In the context of Vietnam entering a new development phase with a focus on science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and deep international integration, VKBIA and its member VKEIA are committed to continuing to connect resources, knowledge, and the business community of the two countries.
We hope that practical experiences from business activities will become important data serving the policy-making process, contributing to forming a transparent and favorable investment environment, enhancing national competitiveness, and promoting substantial, effective, and sustainable Vietnam – Republic of Korea cooperation.”
During the meeting, both sides also discussed solutions to strengthen coordination between policy-making agencies and business associations, expand investment connection programs, support businesses to participate more deeply in the global value chain, and promote cooperation between localities, research institutes, universities, and businesses of the two countries in high technology, semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence, digital economy, education, culture, and human resource development.

The meeting took place in a spirit of solidarity, openness, and responsibility, reflecting attention of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Policies and Strategies in the activities of the Vietnam – Republic of Korea business, expert, and intellectual community. It also affirmed the role of social-professional organizations and people's foreign organizations in reflecting practical experiences, contributing to policy-making, and accompanying the country in rapid, sustainable development and international integration.
The discussions at the meeting are expected to contribute to the completion of mechanisms and policies that meet new development requirements, while also creating additional momentum to promote the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea to develop more substantively, effectively, and sustainably.
