The festival was attended by Khon Kaen Governor Khajornkiat Rakphanitmanee; Vietnamese Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh; Chinese Consul General Liu Hongmei; Lao Consul General Somsack Vilayphone, along with a large number of expatriates and residents from Northeast Thailand.

At the event, the Vietnamese Consulate General, in collaboration with the expatriate communities of Khon Kaen and Udon Thani, organized a Tet space showcasing Vietnamese cuisine and cultural performances. Dishes such as Hanoi-style bun cha, banh mi, banh mi with beef stew, grilled spring rolls, banh chung, and banh gai helped spread the flavors of Vietnamese cuisine in the multicultural local society.

Introducing Vietnamese tea culture to Governor Khajornkiat and other delegates, Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh stated that enjoying tea at the beginning of the year symbolizes respect, solidarity, and goodwill cooperation with friends and the community.

In his opening remarks, Governor Khajornkiat praised the connection between local residents and communities of different origins in building a multicultural society, considering it a foundation for promoting socio-economic development.

Congratulating the event, Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh acknowledged the community's efforts, expressing confidence that activities promoting cultural values will continue to spread, contributing to the foundation of peace, stability, and cooperative development for the common prosperity and tangible benefits of the peoples.

The festival runs until March 3, expecting to attract over 35,000 Thai and international visitors to experience the unique cultural products of Vietnam, Thailand, and China.
