The Ambassador highly appreciated the practical activities of the Liaison Committee and community representatives in the area, welcoming the Party Congress and actively contributing opinions to the Congress documents.
The Ambassador acknowledged the efforts of overseas Vietnamese and Vietnamese businesses contributing to the multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Brunei, especially in the fields of economic-trade, cultural exchange, and people-to-people interaction.
In the coming time, the Ambassador hopes the community will continue to focus on the homeland, actively contributing ideas, knowledge, and resources for the country's socio-economic development, while promoting solidarity and mutual support in life and activities in the area.
During the event, a large number of community members and friends attended the inauguration and visited the Vietnamese Cultural Space at the embassy headquarters.
The cultural space was established with contributions from the community and Vietnamese businesses in the area to introduce local friends and partners to Vietnamese cultural values and products and cultural exchange activities, with a highlight being the Vietnamese language teaching program at the University of Brunei Darussalam.
Notably, the cultural space introduces friends and partners to documents and images of President Ho Chi Minh and publications by international friends and partners about the beloved leader of the Vietnamese nation.
