The new Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station project will bring expanded infrastructure to Temecula, as Vinpowers, a Vietnamese-American-owned company, collaborates with Tesla, Inc. to install fast charging stations in the old town area.
Temecula is one of four locations in Southern California included in the company's expansion plan, totaling 60 Tesla fast charging stations across the region.
The stations, operational by August 2026, are located in high-traffic, bustling areas known for restaurants and tourism.
The project addresses the growing demand for EV infrastructure as electric vehicle usage continues to rise across California. According to Vinpowers, the charging station in Temecula will feature new-generation Tesla fast chargers capable of delivering up to 520KW, significantly reducing charging time.
Mike Duong, CEO of Vinpowers, stated that this is a significant milestone, emphasizing Vinpowers' commitment to investing in clean energy infrastructure and community-oriented development.
