Vietnamese Language Teachers Club launched in Sweden

WVR - On June 20, in the city of Linköping, the Embassy of Vietnam in Sweden organized the Launch Ceremony of the Vietnamese Language Teachers Club in Sweden, marking a new development in the efforts to preserve and promote the Vietnamese language and maintain the cultural identity of the Vietnamese community in the host country.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Sweden, representatives of Vietnamese associations, Vietnamese language teachers, parents, and numerous individuals interested in preserving and spreading the Vietnamese language within the community.

At the ceremony, the organizers announced the decision to establish the Vietnamese Language Teachers Club in Sweden and introduced the Club's Executive Board.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Sweden Tran Van Tuan emphasized the special role of the Vietnamese language for the overseas Vietnamese community, affirming that Vietnamese is not only a means of communication but also a bridge between generations with family, homeland, and cultural identity.

The Ambassador highly appreciated the efforts and dedication of teachers, parents, volunteers, and associations in maintaining and developing the movement of teaching and learning Vietnamese in Sweden in recent times.

Representatives of the Union and Vietnamese associations in Sweden congratulated the establishment of the Club, affirming their continued support for the Club's activities to enhance community cohesion, preserve Vietnamese culture, and assist families in maintaining the Vietnamese language for the younger generation.

On behalf of the Club's Executive Board, Ms. Sally Luu Nguyen accepted the responsibility and introduced the future operational direction, focusing on connecting teachers, sharing teaching materials and experiences, and strengthening coordination with parents and associations to build an effective Vietnamese learning environment suitable for the Vietnamese community in Sweden.

The establishment of the Vietnamese Language Teachers Club in Sweden is a significant milestone, reflecting the interest, responsibility, and love for the Vietnamese language of the Vietnamese community in the host country.
