Vietnam win eight gold medals at int’l maths competition
Vietnam’s contingent of 77 primary and secondary students have won 56 medals, including eight golds, 16 silvers and 32 bronzes at the International Mathematics Competition 2017.

Among the eight gold medalists, five came from Ha Noi.
The International Singapore Maths Competition (ISMC) is open to all Primary 3 up to Primary 6 students. There are four different categories, four different papers. Its format and style are in contrast to most other mathematics competitions. The examination is 90 minutes long.
