The Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Visits and Works with An Giang and Sao Mai Group

The leaders of Sao Mai Group presented a commemorative painting to the Thanh Hoa Provincial delegation, symbolising the strengthening of cooperative investment relations.

Leading the delegation was Comrade Nguyen Doan Anh, a Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Joining the delegation were key leaders from the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and leaders of departments and agencies, as well as representatives of local governments in Thanh Hoa province.

Aspiration for Contribution from Connecting with Roots

At the meeting, the leaders of Thanh Hoa province acknowledged and highly appreciated Sao Mai Group's contributions to the province's socio-economic development. The province affirmed that it will continue to create favourable conditions for the enterprise to expand production and, at the same time, expected the Group to increase investment in tourism, high-end urban development, high-tech agriculture, and deep processing.

Presenting its investment strategy for the period 2026–2030, Sao Mai Group affirmed that promoting projects in Thanh Hoa not only aims to boost economic growth but also demonstrates the aspiration to contribute to building a more modern, beautiful, and prosperous homeland.

On-site Survey of Projects Embodying Digital Technology and Green Energy

During the visit, the Thanh Hoa Provincial leadership delegation toured several representative projects of the Sao Mai Group, demonstrating the company's strategic vision in clean energy, high-tech agriculture, and deep processing.

The Sao Mai Solar Power Plant (An Giang) harmoniously combines modern technology and natural landscapes.

The Sao Mai Solar Power Plant – the “solar power capital” of the Sao Mai Group: Located at the foot of Mount Cam, the project is a symbol of the Group's aspiration to master green technology, and is also one of the largest solar power plants in the Mekong Delta. With a total investment of nearly 6,000 billion VND, an area of over 270 hectares, and a capacity of 210 MWp, the plant has contributed nearly 2 billion kWh (2019–2025) to the national power system as a clean energy source. Here, the delegation gained in-depth knowledge of the "one area - multiple values" model, combining renewable energy production, high-tech agriculture, and ecotourism development, exemplified by the An Hao Solar Farm tourist area.

Sao Mai Industrial Park – a leading closed-loop aquaculture value chain in the region: Continuing the program, the delegation surveyed the modern industrial complex of Sao Mai Group, which operates key links in the pangasius value chain from farm to table.

IDI Company and Sao Mai Super Feed Company (members of Sao Mai Group): These are key units in supplying high-quality aquaculture feed and processing seafood for large-scale export, contributing to bringing the Vietnamese pangasius brand to international markets.

Trisedco Company and AFO Company (members of Sao Mai Group): Two units representing the circular economy model of Sao Mai Group. Here, by-products from pangasius processing are recycled and further processed into many value-added products, such as Ranee premium cooking oil, fishmeal, and fish fat, serving both domestic and export markets.

The Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee visited the Sao Mai Group's production area during his working trip to An Giang.

The leaders of Sao Mai Group introduced the operational process and modern equipment system to the leaders of Thanh Hoa province at the factory area.

Strengthening bonds, building the future

Over three decades of development following a multi-industry strategy, Sao Mai Group has built an ecosystem of 16 member companies operating in the fields of real estate, seafood processing for export, aquaculture feed production, renewable energy, labour export, consulting - design, construction, and tourism services, creating stable jobs for more than 12,000 workers.

The Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee received a commemorative gift from the leaders of An Giang, strengthening the cooperative relationship between the two localities and businesses.

The leaders of Thanh Hoa province acknowledged and praised the efforts of the staff and employees of Sao Mai Group, especially the role of the "exemplary entrepreneur" – a son of Thanh Hoa, a land of outstanding people and rich history, who has strived to excel and made positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality and the country.

The visit and working session concluded in a warm, trusting atmosphere; the synergy between the potential of Sao Mai Group and the province's development strengths is expected to open up many new cooperation opportunities, contributing to building a more prosperous, civilised, and thriving Thanh Hoa.
