On the morning of 23 July (Moscow time), Madame Ngo Phuong Ly visited the Hanoi-Moscow Multifunctional Complex (INCENTRA), where she attended two Vietnamese language classes at the Eurasian Prodigy Centre and observed the “Joyful Vietnamese” programme for Vietnamese children residing in Russia.
Highly appreciating the effective operation of INCENTRA over the past decade, Madame Ngo Phuong Ly expressed her hope that the complex would continue to serve as a cultural bridge between Vietnam and Russia. She also expressed her wish for the centre to remain a vital support hub for the Vietnamese community, facilitating their integration into Russian society while preserving and promoting Vietnam's cultural identity.

During her visit to the Vietnamese language class located within INCENTRA, Madame Ngo Phuong Ly expressed her delight upon seeing the “very Vietnamese” faces of the young students in Russia. She shared her emotional sentiments upon witnessing the heartfelt connection to the homeland that has been maintained across generations of Vietnamese living abroad.

Kindly asking whether the children could understand the messages shared by the visiting delegation, she was touched when all the pupils enthusiastically replied in unison: “Yes, we can”.

“This”, she said, “is the success of the programme - an achievement born from the dedication of the Eurasian Prodigy Centre and the tireless efforts of the teachers. Though these children were not born in Vietnam, they already know and understand so much about the Vietnamese language, culture, and history”.

The spouse of the General Secretary affirmed that language is not merely a tool for communication, but also a cultural bridge and a sacred bond that connects individuals to their roots. The Party and State always regard the overseas Vietnamese community as an inseparable part of the Vietnamese nation.

For children born and raised abroad, she noted, the Vietnamese language serves as a “key” to unlocking the rich cultural heritage of their ancestral land.
“If you are Vietnamese, and you can speak, listen to and understand Vietnamese, then you will also understand your roots, the nation’s history and our ancestors. That is what will make you proud of your heritage. No matter where you are, always keep Vietnam in your heart”, Madame Ngo Phuong Ly shared with the students.

On behalf of the teachers, a representative from the centre expressed sincere appreciation, stating that Madame Ngo Phuong Ly’s words about the significance of the Vietnamese language amounted to a priceless lesson - one that would leave a lasting impression on the students, who were privileged to learn from her as their “teacher” today.

On this occasion, Madame Ngo Phuong Ly presented the children with Vietnamese books and story collections. She also joined them in clapping along to dances performed to songs about Vietnam. She was pleasantly surprised and delighted when the children performed the popular dance “Bac Bling”, a lively display of their heartfelt connection to their cultural roots.

Earlier, upon arriving in Moscow on 22 July, Madame Ngo Phuong Ly and the delegation paid a visit and held a cordial meeting with staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia and a number of representatives of the Vietnamese community in Russia.
