V1 MUSCLE WAR 2026 – Exciting second Vietnamese Bodybuilding Championship across Japan
WVR - On August 16, in Higashiosaka City, Osaka Prefecture (Japan), the second Vietnamese Bodybuilding Championship Across Japan – V1 MUSCLE WAR 2026, took place with great enthusiasm, attracting a large number of athletes and sports enthusiasts from the Vietnamese community in Japan.

The competition was not only a venue for physique contests but also contributed to spreading the spirit of health training, promoting a positive lifestyle, and strengthening community bonds.
V1 MUSCLE WAR 2026 was held at Shimin Fureai Hall, Higashiosaka City, under the patronage of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka, organized by the Vietnam-Japan Kansai Cultural and Sports Exchange Association in collaboration with SVFIT Company.
The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka; Ms. Le Thuong, President of the Vietnamese Association in Kansai; Mr. Bui Ngoc Tu, President of the Vietnam-Japan Kansai Cultural and Sports Exchange Association, Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Nguyen Viet Phong, representative of SVFIT Company, along with representatives from associations, businesses, sponsors, the jury, and a large number of supporters.
Due to scheduling conflicts, the Mayor of Higashiosaka City could not attend in person and sent a congratulatory letter to the competition. The letter was introduced by the Organizing Committee at the opening ceremony, reflecting the local government's interest in cultural and sports exchange activities of the Vietnamese community residing in the city.
In speeches at the event, delegates highly appreciated the effort to maintain the competition into its second year, gradually forming an organized sports playground for Vietnamese people living, studying, and working in Japan. Through bodybuilding activities, the Organizing Committee aims to encourage the community to pay more attention to physical training, health care, and building a healthy lifestyle.

This year, athletes competed in four main categories: Men's Physique, Men's Body, Men's Classic, and Bikini. Men's Physique was divided into three classes based on height. The competitions took place in an exciting atmosphere, showcasing the serious preparation of the athletes in terms of physique, performance techniques, and stage presence.
After rounds of competition and evaluation by the jury, the most outstanding faces were announced.
In the Men's Physique category, athlete Hoang Van Nam, number 01, won first place in Class A for the group under 170 cm. Pham Phuong Nam, number 32, topped Class B for the group over 170 cm to under 175 cm. The first prize in Class C, for the group over 175 cm, went to Huynh Ba Lam, number 37.
Notably, athlete Nguyen Tuan Minh, number 25, delivered an outstanding performance, winning first place in both Men's Body and Men's Classic categories. In the women's category, Nguyen Thi Hoa, number 44, excelled to win first place in the Bikini category.
Besides the professional awards, the Organizing Committee also presented two special awards. Nguyen Hoang Vinh, number 27, received the title of “Most Popular Athlete”.
Especially, with his outstanding performance and achievements in the competition, Hoang Van Nam, number 01, was named the overall champion of V1 MUSCLE WAR 2026.
The moment when athletes stepped onto the podium to receive their awards, accompanied by the cheers of a large audience, marked a highlight of this year's season.

According to the Organizing Committee, V1 MUSCLE WAR aims not only to seek and honour outstanding bodybuilding athletes but also to build a healthy sports-loving community. The competition provides an opportunity for athletes to meet, exchange expertise, share training experiences, and inspire young people interested in fitness and sports.
The fact that the competition is being held for the second year also highlights the increasing diversity in the activities of the Vietnamese community in Japan. Alongside cultural, educational, and traditional exchange programs, sports playgrounds are contributing to forming an image of a healthy, dynamic, united Vietnamese community actively integrating with the local society.
Concluding V1 MUSCLE WAR 2026, the trophies and titles found their owners, but the greater value left by the competition is the spirit of sportsmanship, connectivity, and motivation for health training within the community. The success of the second season also lays the groundwork for the Vietnamese Bodybuilding Championship Across Japan to continue, expand, and become an annual sports activity for the Vietnamese community in Japan in the coming years.
