MV 'Quintessence of Vietnam' debuts: A new symbol celebrating Vietnamese cultural identity and creativity
WVR - On the afternoon of December 5, the MV "Quintessence of Vietnam" was officially introduced, marking a significant highlight in the media ecosystem of the Tinh Hoa Viet Awards 2025, organized by Dai Doan Ket Newspaper in collaboration with ZOA Creative and Alien Media.

Carrying the overarching message “Unity of creative people today is a bright cultural heritage for tomorrow,” the MV aims to spread the spirit of convergence and synergy across the arts, evoking pride in Vietnamese identity in the creative era.
A creative space connecting heritage and contemporary art
The MV begins with a boy's journey exploring a cultural museum – a metaphor for the continuity between tradition and modernity.
As the space opens up, music, cinema, theater, dance, and contemporary art intersect on the same backdrop, creating an emotionally rich "creative universe" imbued with Vietnamese spirit.

Director Kawaii Tuan Anh opts for a cinematic storytelling approach, featuring actors from notable Vietnamese films of 2025 such as: Death battle in the air, Red rain, and Tunnels: Sun in the dark.
Artistic segments are interwoven to depict the Vietnamese spirit in the flow of contemporary creativity.
Producer Nguyen Phan Giang shared that Vietnamese essence does not stem from individual stories but is formed by the synergistic power of music, cinema, theater, fashion, culture, and art. The MV is positioned as a common space where artists "stand together to reach further".
The theme song, composed by musician Nguyen Hai Phong, draws inspiration from cultural heritage and the responsibility to pass on values to the next generation.
The project gathers artists from various generations to perform and appear in the MV: Lam Truonng, Phuong Vy, Phan Manh Quynh, Bui Lan Huong, Isaac, Huong Tram, Bui Cong Nam, Lam Bao Ngoc, GreyD, Cao Ba Hung, Nguyen Hung…
According to young artists, participating in the MV helps them "touch emotions and responsibility", while veteran singers affirm that music can connect communities, expand creative spaces, and spread Vietnamese values.

Behind the scenes: Perseverance for a symbolic work
The MV "Quintessence of Vietnam" was filmed continuously over four days with a packed schedule. Each artist had limited screen time, requiring the crew to constantly set up lighting, adjust the LED screen system, rehearse, and reset the scene to ensure every detail met the highest quality.
The LED background system was custom-designed for each artist, simulating culturally symbolic spaces while providing a backdrop that supports the overall aesthetics of the MV.
Combining traditional Vietnamese elements with modern techniques required the crew to continuously experiment, refine, and optimize each frame.
Producer Nguyen Phan Giang stated that bringing together artists from various fields necessitated multiple changes to the production plan. However, the final result reflects the crew's persistent efforts to bring Vietnamese culture closer to domestic and international audiences.
"The MV "Quintessence of Vietnam" is a testament to the perseverance of those in the arts in bringing Vietnamese culture closer to today's public and the world of tomorrow," Mr. Giang emphasized.
He added: If essence is a star, then creative unity is the sky for that star to shine. "Quintessence of Vietnam" is not just a music-cinema product but a symbol of Vietnamese creative spirit.
