On October 14, a working delegation from VEPH, led by Mr. Pham Van Thang, Member of the Members’ Council, paid a visit and held discussions with the Vietnam Cultural Center in France (CCV).
During the meeting, Mr. Pham Van Thang expressed his desire to strengthen sustainable cooperation with the Center — not only through the provision of teaching materials but also via joint projects to design and develop Vietnamese-language programs for overseas communities. Such initiatives, he emphasized, help preserve the mother tongue and promote Vietnamese culture to the wider world.
The collaboration between the Vietnam Cultural Center in France and Vietnam Education Publishing House stands as a vivid example of shared commitment, responsibility, and patriotism — all directed toward the common goal of safeguarding and promoting Vietnamese cultural and linguistic values among the Vietnamese diaspora in France and Europe.
On this occasion, VEPH presented a collection of Vietnamese-language books to support teaching and learning within the Vietnamese community in France. These valuable educational resources will meaningfully contribute to preserving and spreading the Vietnamese language — the cultural and emotional bond that connects overseas Vietnamese with their homeland.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tang Thanh Son, Deputy Director of the CCV, expressed his sincere appreciation to VEPH for its continued support in Vietnamese-language education and cultural promotion in France.
Mr. Son affirmed that the Center will continue to uphold its role as a cultural and educational bridge between Vietnam and France, further expanding Vietnamese-language teaching programs and organizing cultural and artistic activities to serve the community.
The cooperation between VEPH and the CCV in France is expected to play an important role in preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural and linguistic heritage among Vietnamese communities in France and across Europe.
