These works not only showcase the beauty of Vietnam's landscapes and people but also honor the nation's spirit of struggle, labor, and creativity through various historical periods.
Audiences can collect free tickets at the National Cinema Center (87 Lang Ha, Hanoi). Each person can receive up to 4 tickets per film week (with a maximum of 2 tickets per film).
The opening ceremony of the Film Week will take place at 8 PM on November 15 at the National Cinema Center. The film The Scent of Burning Grass – a poignant work on the theme of war – has been selected for the opening screening as a tribute to the generations who sacrificed for the nation.
Specially, interactions between audiences and film crews, directors, and actors will be organized after some screenings, providing opportunities for the public to gain deeper insights into the artists' creative processes and intriguing behind-the-scenes stories.
Not only held in Hanoi, film screenings and interactions will also take place simultaneously in six provinces and cities: Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Quang Tri, Da Nang, Dak Lak, and Can Tho, contributing to spreading the atmosphere of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival across the country.
With the participation of many generations of artists, from veteran directors to emerging talents making their mark, the film week promises to offer audiences an emotional journey that is both nostalgic and fresh, affirming the vibrant vitality and increasingly solid position of Vietnamese cinema in the era of international integration.
