What products did Mobifone Telecommunications Corporation showcase at the international event – the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime signing ceremony?
At the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime signing ceremony, Mobifone aimed to demonstrate its transition from a traditional telecom provider to a technology and defense enterprise. First, we introduced a suite of solutions for administration and public services, including a comprehensive online public administration platform currently deployed in Hanoi and Thai Nguyen.
In Thai Nguyen, the citizen-business service index reached 83.83 points, ranking among the highest nationwide; 80% of public services have been fully digitized. Concurrently, Mobifone has developed smart kiosks and robots to assist citizens in retrieving information, taking queue numbers, filling forms, or assessing satisfaction levels right at service points.
Our e-government solution suite consists of three functional groups: (1) comprehensive online public services; (2) digitization stations; (3) a two-tier operational management system for local governments.

Secondly, Mobifone introduced the Smart Travel and digital museum solutions, implemented for the Hanoi city police. Utilizing AR and VR 360 technology, this solution allows visitors to experience relics, artifacts, and landmarks through a virtual space, creating dynamic interactive tours.
Thirdly, the digital education platform MobiEdu, recognized as a potential national digital transformation platform, was highlighted. This open online course system (MOOC) boasts over 4 million users and facilitated over 1 million online exams during the Covid-19 period, and is now available in Laos.
Additionally, Mobifone presented cybersecurity solutions, 5G access devices, firewalls for small and medium enterprises, and the MobiPost payment platform.
Following the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime signing ceremony in Hanoi, what plans does Mobifone Telecommunications Corporation have to expand its activities in this field?
We have identified the security-defense industry as a key development focus. Mobifone has established a dedicated cybersecurity unit with nearly 20 experts, conducting drills, Hackathon competitions, Red Team – Blue Team exercises, and providing security services to various partners.
In the future, we will invest more heavily, attracting top talent and experts, as cybersecurity is a crucial element of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

What do you expect from government support in developing the cybersecurity sector for businesses?
We hope the government will facilitate the establishment of innovation hubs and cybersecurity incubators, where experts can practice, drill, and test on large systems.
This environment is essential for building a strong workforce. Additionally, appropriate policies and incentives for top experts in this field are crucial. With the aim of becoming a security-defense enterprise, Mobifone is committed not only to protecting its own data and telecommunications infrastructure but also to contributing to national and business cybersecurity.
