Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Van Anh, Head of the Permanent Delegation of Vietnam to UNESCO, emphasized the significance of February 3, 1930, marking the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the sole and rightful leader of the Vietnamese revolution.
According to the Ambassador, over the past 96 years, under the founding and leadership of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party has steadfastly pursued the goal of national independence linked with socialism. It has led the Vietnamese people to successive victories in all fields, from gaining independence and national reunification to comprehensive renovation and international integration.
Ambassador Nguyen Thi Van Anh also highly appreciated the results of the 14th National Party Congress, considering it a crucial turning point that sets the direction for the country's development in the new era. It inspires strong confidence and determination among officials, Party members, and people both domestically and abroad.
The Ambassador called on each official and Party member to continue thoroughly understanding and seriously implementing the Congress's resolutions, enhancing political bravery and responsibility, contributing to promoting the friendly cooperative relations between Vietnam and France. At the same time, spreading the image, values, and spirit of Vietnam in this new phase of development.
The ceremony also featured cultural performances praising the glorious Party and the great President Ho Chi Minh, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere towards the Party's founding anniversary and celebrating the Year of the Horse.
