Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand pays tribute to Lao National Assembly President Xaysomphone Phomvihane
WVR - On the morning of August 11, at the Lao Embassy in Bangkok, a delegation from the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand, led by Ambassador Pham Viet Hung, paid tribute and signed the condolence book in memory of Lao National Assembly President Xaysomphone Phomvihane.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, Ambassador Pham Viet Hung, along with embassy officials and staff, observed a minute of silence, respectfully bowing in memory before the portrait of the Lao National Assembly President.
Emotionally writing in the condolence book, Ambassador Pham Viet Hung expressed profound sorrow over the passing of the Lao National Assembly President, affirming that he was an outstanding and dedicated leader of the Party, State, National Assembly, and people of Laos; and a loyal and close friend of the Party, State, National Assembly, Government, and people of Vietnam.
The Ambassador emphasized that the Lao National Assembly President made significant contributions to strengthening and developing the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation, and strategic ties between Vietnam and Laos.
His passing is a great loss for the people of Laos and also a loss for the people of Vietnam.

Sharing with Lao Ambassador to Thailand Sisavath Inphachanh, Ambassador Pham Viet Hung affirmed that Vietnam always remembers and appreciates the contributions of the Lao National Assembly President in nurturing, strengthening, and developing the special Vietnam-Laos relationship.
Lao Ambassador to Thailand Sisavath Inphachanh sincerely thanked the Vietnamese Embassy Delegation in Thailand for their tribute and signing of the condolence book, considering it a vivid testament to the rare and deep bond between the two Parties, States, and peoples of Vietnam and Laos.
