Speaking at the meeting, Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh expressed gratitude and highly appreciated the commendable efforts of Khon Kaen University in investing in modern facilities, practically supporting the initiative to establish the Vietnam Study Center at one of Thailand's leading and prestigious universities.
As a regional educational institution supporting in-depth research and training, providing multidimensional knowledge data on various fields about Vietnam, the Center will contribute to promoting educational cooperation, cultural exchange, people-to-people diplomacy, and introducing Vietnam's land and people.

Notably, the Consulate General will coordinate to provide information and materials to introduce and honour President Ho Chi Minh, the national liberation hero and world cultural figure, to the Vietnamese community, Thai friends, and international audiences.
Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh believes that the Vietnam Studies Centre will also become a support hub for the Vietnamese community to preserve cultural identity, national traditions, and the Vietnamese language, continuing to serve as a bridge of friendship to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Thailand.

Welcoming the Vietnamese Consulate General's continued proactive and positive contributions, Ms. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President, supported and agreed with the plan to inaugurate the Vietnam Study Center at the end of August 2026.
Ms. Orathai Lek, Head of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, also expressed support and a desire to collaborate in signing memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with several Vietnamese universities and cultural and educational units within the program's framework.

Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh affirmed that the Consulate General will continue to strive to organize the inauguration ceremony of the Vietnam Studies Centre, making it a festival of ideas, cultural and educational cooperation initiatives, and friendship spirit, adding a meaningful activity to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand.
