Vietnam Cafe Show 2018 kicks off in HCM City
The 2018 Vietnam Cafe Show opened at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Centre (SECC) in HCM City on May 3, attracting more than 100 leading local and foreign coffee brands.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Nguyen The Hung, deputy general director of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), said the event provides a forum for businesses from different nations to share their experiences and coffee knowledge, thus expanding the scale of trade exchange, and helping to improve the quantity and quality of Vietnamese coffee.

On display at 200 pavilions were products such as coffee, tea, beverages, cakes, cutting-edge machinery and equipment, desserts, interior decoration for coffee shops, and franchises and startups.
Diverse activities are planned for the event including the Vietnam National Barista Championship (VNBC) and impressive displays of skill by the baristas of companies such as Coffee Training Station, Sweet Class, and Vietnam Beverage Battle.
Visitors will also be able to sample different kinds of beverages and cakes at pavilions throughout the expo. The event will run until May 5.
