The airline's CEO Dinh Viet Phuong said that the integration of the advanced Trent 7000 engine series into new generation A330neo fleet which is coupled with comprehensive TotalCare service will help Vietjet achieve significant technological advancements while enhancing flight quality, boosting operational reliability and efficiency. Notably, Rolls-Royce's cutting-edge, fuel-efficient engines align with Vietjet's sustainable development strategy and ESG objectives, targeting net-zero emissions by 2050.

The Trent 7000, a state-of-the-art engine designed by Rolls-Royce, is developed to ensure environmental sustainability targets. It can help cut more than 14% fuel consumption per seat, significantly reducing emissions. This is projected to prevent over 100,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions across the lifespan of each aircraft.

Furthermore, TotalCare, a premier engine service, leverages Rolls-Royce's advanced monitoring systems to provide airlines with enhanced readiness, reliability, and continuous high efficiency. The new agreement also extends TotalCare services to the Trent 700 engines in Vietjet's existing A330ceo fleet.

Rob Watson, CEO of Rolls-Royce, expressed the company's commitment to supporting Vietjet's fleet with the Trent 7000 engines and the TotalCare service package over the long term.

Rolls-Royce, a British engineering leader, specialises in developing and delivering engine solutions for critical safety applications in aviation, maritime, and land sectors.

The group is investing over 1 billion GBP (1.3 billion USD) in further enhancing the Trent engine series. Notably, the newly introduced durability service package doubles the engine's operational life and enhances performance by up to 30%.

Vietjet is actively expanding its international flight network, serving passengers in Vietnam, Australia, India, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, and other intercontinental destinations. The airline aims to provide a safe, comfortable, and modern flying experience at the most cost-effective rates.

This partnership with Rolls-Royce marks a significant milestone in Vietjet's journey to enhance its technological capabilities in engine solutions and related services.
