On April 17, in Hanoi, the organizing committee of the annual cultural and music festival "Chung ta la mot – We are together" held a press conference to provide information about the event.
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Park Han Woong, a representative of the organizing committee, expressed hope that the event will continue to affirm its position as a symbol of sustainable cultural exchange.
With an expected attendance ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 people each day, the festival is not merely an entertainment event but also a space for expatriates to meet, share difficulties, and build a strong Vietnamese community in Republic of Korea.

Following the success of the 7th edition in 2025, this year's program continues to inherit and develop core values, making "Chung ta la mot" an indispensable cultural rendezvous for overseas Vietnamese every May.
According to the organizers, the Festival will take place from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM each day, featuring various distinctive cultural and artistic activities aimed at the Vietnamese community living, studying, and working in Republic of Korea.
Within the framework of the event, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, a talent contest for expatriates will be held, providing an opportunity for the community to directly showcase cultural and artistic beauty on a professional stage. Following that, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, there will be bubble and balloon magic shows for children and families.
The highlight of the festival is the Grand Concert (6:30 PM – 9:00 PM) featuring many renowned artists from both countries. This year's stage gathers famous artists from Vietnam such as Ha Le, ST Son Thach, Thanh Duy, Ngo Lan Huong, and Hoang Yen Chibi. A notable first-time appearance is DJ Tilo with an EDM performance promising to stir up a youthful and vibrant atmosphere.
From the Republic of Korean side, the program's artistic diversity is enriched by the participation of the Gyeonggi Youth Choir and soprano Kim Yoon Ji. Besides musical performances, attendees also have the chance to win valuable prizes through a lucky draw held at the end of each day.
Currently, about 300,000 Vietnamese are studying and participating in economic activities in South Korea. In this context, since 2017, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-South Korea diplomatic relations, DB Insurance initiated the "Chung ta la mot" Festival as a prominent cultural exchange activity for the Vietnamese community in the host country.

Over eight editions, the Festival has increasingly asserted its position as a symbolic event in promoting cultural exchange between the two countries. Previously, the 7th festival in 2025 was successfully held in Suwon, commemorating the 33rd anniversary of Vietnam-South Korea diplomatic relations.
The 8th "Chung ta la mot – We are together" Festival is not only a cultural-entertainment activity but also a message of connection, sharing, and sustainable development of the Vietnamese community in South Korea, thereby contributing to strengthening the friendly relations between the two nations.
