An old Quang Tri veteran was deeply moved at the seminar: “It has been over half a century, but the memory of 81 days and nights in Quang Tri Citadel remains intact. Those were the months we lived and fought in the rain of bombs and bullets, witnessing comrades falling right next to us. We fought with the belief that the next generation would live in peace. Today, when I revisited Red Rain and saw the younger generation sitting with us in the theatre, I felt our sacrifices were worthy. I hope the younger generation will never forget that peace is thanks to the sacrifices of those who came before and that they live worthwhile lives to contribute to building a prosperous country.
