The Atomic Energy Museum hosts exhibitions, lectures, and business meetings to promote and inform about the achievements and future developments of Russia's nuclear industry.

Built in 2018 and operational since 2023, the museum is a unique structural facility with four above-ground floors and three underground levels (18 meters deep), covering a total floor area of approximately 25,000 m2. It can accommodate about 2,100 visitors at a time and 4,500 visitors per day.

The museum is designed as a science centre for both the public and industry experts. The architecture of the exhibition hall is inspired by the narrative of the exhibition – a journey from the past to the future through the present.

At the modern nuclear industry exhibition, visitors can explore potential applications of nuclear technology in energy, medicine, food industry (food processing), and agriculture (water desalination).

One of the main exhibits is a large-scale model of a nuclear reactor in the main hall, depicting the complex yet harmonious interaction between various devices and mechanisms, metaphorically described with a combination of music.

At the museum, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegation members listened to leaders from the Russian Federation's National Atomic Energy Corporation (Rosatom) and museum officials introduce the history and modern achievements of Russia's nuclear energy sector.

Exploring Russia's experience in nuclear energy development, the Prime Minister noted that the museum contributes to inspiring the desire to develop and apply atomic energy for peaceful purposes, with high determination, great effort, and decisive action.

Rosatom leaders emphasized that the signing of the Agreement between the two governments on cooperation in building a nuclear power plant in Vietnam is significant not only for Vietnam but also for the region in the field of peaceful nuclear energy development.

The Prime Minister proposed that in the future, Vietnam and Russia enhance cooperation in training human resources in atomic energy for peaceful purposes. This includes establishing Russian training branches in Vietnam and sending Vietnamese students and researchers to Russia, meeting development needs, including cooperation in building a nuclear power plant in Vietnam.

Earlier, on March 23, after talks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin witnessed the signing of the Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in building a nuclear power plant in Vietnam.

The two leaders welcomed and affirmed the signing of the Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in building a nuclear power plant in Vietnam. They consider this a significant step forward in bilateral cooperation in the field of peaceful nuclear energy and believe it will be a new symbol of friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
