At the invitation of Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil Pinto, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung will pay an official visit to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela from June 23-24.
Vietnam and Venezuela officially established diplomatic relations on December 18, 1989, and set up a Comprehensive Partnership framework in May 2007. Recently, the traditional friendship and Comprehensive Partnership between the two countries have been further promoted and strengthened across three pillars: Party diplomacy, state diplomacy, and people-to-people diplomacy.
The two countries have promoted multifaceted cooperation in various fields such as politics, economy, culture, society, and education and training.
Based on the traditional brotherly friendship, Venezuela and Vietnam have enhanced mutual support, strengthened the friendly and solidarity relations, contributing to building and developing the countries for peace and stability, and contributing to development in both regions and worldwide.
