The exhibition is organized to commemorate the 136th birth anniversary of Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2026). Attendees included Muang Nakhon District Chief Somsack Bunchan; President of the Vietnamese Association in Thailand, President of the Thai-Vietnamese Business Association in Thailand Ho Van Lam; Nong Yat Commune President Watchara Asadee; President of the Thai-Vietnam Association in Nakhon Phanom Nguyen Dinh Vy, along with Vietnamese expatriates and Thai friends.
In his opening remarks, Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh dedicated his life to the struggle for national independence, freedom, and happiness for the Vietnamese people, while also contributing significantly to the global movement for national liberation, peace, friendship, and development.
With profound intellect, ideology, ethics, and compassion, he became a national liberation hero and an outstanding cultural figure of the 20th century.
According to the Consul General, during his revolutionary activities in Thailand from July 1928 to November 1929 under the alias Thau Chin, President Ho Chi Minh left a deep impression on the Vietnamese community and local residents.
The seeds of friendship he sowed nearly a century ago have laid the foundation for the excellent cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Thailand today.
Mr. Dinh Hoang Linh stated that remembering and honoring President Ho Chi Minh has become a cultural activity of profound spiritual significance for the Vietnamese community in Thailand, especially in areas associated with his revolutionary journey.

This photo exhibition, held in Nakhon Phanom, one of the “red addresses” associated with President Ho Chi Minh’s activities in Thailand, holds special significance on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam–Thailand diplomatic relations (1976–2026).
Through images and documents about the life, career, and ideology of President Ho Chi Minh, the exhibition helps to spread values of peace, friendship, and cooperation between the two nations.
Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh also affirmed that continuing to introduce and honor President Ho Chi Minh is a key task in the foreign affairs and community work of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Khon Kaen, thereby expressing deep gratitude and determination to learn and follow his ideology, ethics, and style.
On this occasion, the Consul General expressed gratitude to the authorities of Nakhon Phanom Province, Muang Nakhon District, Nong Yat Commune, the Vietnamese Association in Thailand, the Thai-Vietnam Association, and the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Nakhon Phanom for successfully coordinating the exhibition, contributing to enhancing people-to-people exchanges and promoting Vietnam–Thailand friendship.
