The move aims to make it easier for foreign enterprises to learn about and do business with Vietnamese firms and recognize contributions of local exporters to the export growth in Vietnam. The list has been selected from nominations by ministries, industry associations and departments of industry and trades at cities and provinces.

According to the MoIT’s Foreign Trade Agency, it has received 51 documents from these institutions from across the country to nominate 230 companies in 24 industries. Among them, 200 firms have met set criteria, and will be considered for the list. These firms must satisfy several standards in terms of export revenue, product quality and characteristics, reputation among foreign partners, compliance with tax and customs regulations.
