Hanoi Culinary Space 2023 will be held at Hanoi Children’s Palace

The Hanoi Culinary Space 2023 entitled "The Quintessence of Vietnamese Cuisine” will be held at the Hanoi Children’s Palace from September 29 to October 1, as part of the activities to mark the capital city’s 69th Liberation Day (October 10).

The event aims to promote the city’s culinary value as a unique tourism product to visitors.

It will be divided into spaces for introducing Hanoi's traditional and international cuisine, and typical dishes of different regions in Vietnam; and especially a space to promote Michelin-winning culinary establishments and the capital's culinary tourism destinations.

The highlight of the event will be a space for Hanoi’s ‘pho’ (Vietnamese noodle soup), with some famous brands to be introduced.

The Hanoi Culinary Space 2023 is expected to help spread the beauty and uniqueness of cuisine of the over-1,000-year-old capital city to domestic and foreign tourists.

Hanoi's traditional food space is divided into traditional culinary displays and performances, recreating Hanoi's traditional dishes such as Bun thang, La Vong fish cake, stuffed snail vermicelli, Phu sticky rice Thuong, additional cakes, growing Van Am, O mai, banh mi...

The highlight here is Hanoi's pho space, typical of Ha Thanh cuisine and some other famous pho brands. Visitors will experience the process of creating "fibers" - one of the ingredients that make up the typical dishes of vermicelli, vermicelli, and pho... The special cuisine of the districts is also introduced to craft villages in Hanoi.

The space to promote Michelin-starred culinary establishments, the capital's culinary tourism destination will introduce a number of Michelin-starred culinary establishments (included in the Michelin guidebook - specializing in culinary world leaders to promote to tourists). Some typical restaurants such as Tam Ta, Gia (1 Michelin star), Au Trieu beef noodle soup, Nguyet chicken noodle soup, Thang Long fish cake, Tuyet Bun Cha 34 (Bib Gourmand)...

Within the framework of the event, the Organizing Committee arranged 5 miniatures: Pure Hanoi Cuisine; crystallization of Vietnamese Cuisine; Explore the World; Vietnamese spice map; full moon night.

These miniatures recreate Hanoi's street food with rustic bamboo walls, street vendors in the summer evening; typical images of houses on stilts, fishing boats, small boats, images of girls wearing Ba Ba clothes, and typical dishes of the region; the cultural identity of each country blends with Hanoi cuisine; Vietnam map is created from natural spices…

In addition, many cross-cutting activities took place during the event such as The cooperation discussion took place "The essence of Hanoi's traditional Pho"; experience making moon cakes; acting "Fusion cuisine - Lost but familiar"; artisans performing traditional dishes... Activities are scheduled in reasonable time frames, ensuring they are always explosive and meaningful throughout the duration of the event.
