Boston Corner specializes in selecting and importing foreign books and educational products from the US and Europe, chosen based on stringent criteria of academic value, applicability, and long-term engagement with readers.

As the demand for accessing international knowledge rises, more Vietnamese readers are seeking quality foreign books to broaden their understanding, update new knowledge trends, and connect more deeply with the global academic flow.

However, accessing curated foreign books from the US and Europe remains limited, with sources scattered and lacking organized reading spaces.

In response to this reality, the creation of curated foreign book spaces, focusing on content value and quality reading experiences, is becoming an increasingly clear need among learners, professionals, and knowledge enthusiasts in Vietnam.

To help meet this demand, Boston Corner selects and imports foreign books and educational products from the US and Europe, chosen based on strict criteria of academic value, applicability, and long-term engagement with readers.

The project focuses on publications with academic value, aesthetic value, and long-term applicability in fields such as business, design, architecture, art, thinking, and personal development.

Rather than pursuing quantity, Boston Corner adheres to the philosophy of "selection over quantity". Each book in this space undergoes a careful selection process to ensure content quality, academic reliability, and long-term reading value. At Boston Corner, readers can find these quality titles.

In addition to providing pre-selected titles, Boston Corner offers a service to order foreign books according to readers' needs, with a commitment to quick sourcing, optimal shipping time, and reasonable costs. This service aims to help Vietnamese readers access international titles not yet available in the domestic market.

The journey to establish Boston Corner began years ago. On March 1, 2022, the first batches of foreign books were imported with 41 titles – a cautious but hopeful experimental step.

From that modest starting point, the team gradually accumulated experience in selecting titles, building international supply chains, and understanding the needs of the domestic reader community.

After more than four years, the scale of operations has seen significant growth. Recently, Boston Corner has imported batches with up to 1,000 products, marking an important step in expanding the catalog and enhancing the quality of foreign books available to readers.

Behind this development is a journey filled with challenges, from the cost of importing, international logistics, to predicting market demand for specialized titles.

However, the perseverance and commitment of the team have gradually built a carefully curated book source, with the desire to bring more valuable publications from around the world closer to the Vietnamese reader community.

The name Boston Corner is inspired by the city of Boston (USA) – one of the world's oldest academic centers, renowned for its tradition of valuing knowledge, rich library systems, and numerous prestigious universities.

This spirit is reflected in how Boston Corner is crafted as a meticulous, quiet, and reliable space where each book offers an invitation to a journey of learning and knowledge exploration.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Canh Binh, Chairman of Alpha Books, the entity owning Boston Corner, stated: “Knowledge is always a crucial foundation for the development of each individual and society. Boston Corner is built with the desire to bridge the gap in accessing international knowledge for Vietnamese readers.

From the first batches of just a few dozen books to today's thousands of publications, it has been a challenging journey but also a persistent effort by the team to bring valuable books from the world closer to Vietnamese readers.”

The launch of Boston Corner not only marks the debut of a new foreign book space but also represents an effort to expand the gateway to international knowledge for the Vietnamese reader community.

In its long-term development direction, Boston Corner aims to become a familiar destination for foreign book lovers, where classical academic spirit meets the learning needs of modern society, contributing to the formation of a reader community committed to lifelong reading and learning.
