On March 12, the British magazine Time Out released its list of the 50 best cities in the world for 2026 (Best Cities 2026) – places deemed the “most exciting to live and explore”.
The list is based on a survey of over 24,000 residents across 150 cities worldwide, along with contributions from more than 100 local experts and journalists.
Hanoi ranks 25th, described as “a blend of old and new” and undergoing an “astonishing transformation”. The 38th position is held by Ho Chi Minh City, which Time Out calls the “City that never sleeps”.
