To ensure safety, security, and smooth traffic flow for the New Year Countdown 2026 event taking place on the evening of December 31, 2025, at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi), authorities and organisers will implement the following traffic diversion and regulation plans:

From 1:00 PM on December 31, Hanoi Police, in collaboration with the Department of Construction, will organise remote traffic regulation and diversion to reduce congestion on roads leading to the event area. Bus routes will be adjusted accordingly.
The event organisers will closely coordinate with departments, Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee, and related agencies to develop suitable travel plans for delegates and the public attending the event.
