Diplomatic student makes a remarkable impression at Miss Vietnamese Student 2025

Born in 2006, Tong Ngoc Anh hails from Bac Ninh and is currently a student of International Communication at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. Entering this beauty pageant for students, she did not aim to chase after images or seek to stand out. What caught people's attention was her calm, intelligent way of speaking, her ability to listen carefully before responding, and her observant nature before taking action.

In an interview with The World and Vietnam Newspaper, Ngoc Anh shared that her decision to participate in the competition stemmed from a desire to step out of her comfort zone. She confided, “I don’t want my life to be like a still lake; I want to embrace challenges to see how adaptable and mature I can become.”

According to Ngoc Anh, the competition is not just a beauty stage but also a place to hone public speaking skills, performance abilities, and personal branding - crucial elements for a communication student like her.

During the filming and activities at the shared house round, the packed schedule posed a challenge for many contestants. However, being trained in a dynamic environment like the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, the 19-year-old was consistently praised for her ability to maintain a steady spirit: not rushing, not panicking, always professional in her performances, and ready to support other contestants. This spirit helped her maintain a stable performance throughout the competition, leaving a strong impression on the judges.

The Miss Environment title was awarded to Ngoc Anh for her practical approach to this pressing issue. Instead of focusing on slogans or campaign images, she chose a simple and relatable path for students: starting with small changes in daily habits. For her, protecting the environment is not about “doing something grand”, but about “doing something sustainable”.

In the final night, Ngoc Anh performed with an energetic catwalk, a bright smile, and captivating eyes. She candidly viewed her Top 20 finish: “I can clearly see that I have come further than when I started. The most important thing is that I have learned valuable lessons to become more mature.”

After the competition, Ngoc Anh returned to her school and resumed her usual studies. She does not view titles or rankings as the ultimate goal but sees the recent experience as a way to better understand herself: knowing her strengths and what needs improvement. This foundation will enable Ngoc Anh to go further in the future, with a layer of resilience forged from experiences and ideals enriched by unforgettable memories.
