Poland, the world’s 20th largest economy, driven by strong growth, is one of the key economies in the European Union. In this context, Adamed’s investment in Davipharm in Vietnam stands as
a prime example of effective international expansion by Polish capital. This initiative not only demonstrates the transfer of know-how and quality standards but also serves as a benchmark for other European companies, illustrating how international cooperation can drive local economic growth and strengthen Europe’s position on the global development map.
Adamed acquired stakes in Davipharm in 2017 and became its full owner in 2023. Today, Davipharm represents the largest Polish direct investment in Vietnam and has become one of the most dynamically developing companies in the country’s pharmaceutical sector. Its evolution underscores the increasing integration between Vietnam and Poland in trade, technology, and healthcare development, and highlights the growing importance of international partnerships in strengthening Vietnam’s long-term pharmaceutical capabilities.

Advancing industry standards through strategic investment
In 2021, Davipharm became one of the few Vietnamese pharmaceutical companies to obtain EU-GMP certification for non-sterile solid dosage forms, covering capsules, hard shells, and tablets. This milestone marked a major step forward in aligning the company’s operations with internationally recognised quality standards. In 2024, Davipharm became the first company in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, to obtain EU-GMP certification for its High Potent (HP) Zone for manufacturing high-quality oncology products.
In 2025, Davipharm was re-certified by the Philippines FDA, strengthening its export potential.
Adamed’s strategic engagement with Vietnam’s healthcare priorities was also reinforced during an official meeting in Warsaw in January 2025, where Vietnamese Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chinh, along with senior ministers, met with representatives of the Adamed Group. Discussions reinforced the shared commitment to building a more innovative and self-reliant pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam.
