The enhancement of personnel for the APEC 2027 National Secretariat demonstrates proactive early preparation from the advisory level, ensuring human resources with sufficient capability, experience, strategic thinking, and international coordination skills, laying a solid foundation for Vietnam to successfully organize a 2027 APEC Year with widespread impact, substance, and rich cooperative value for the region and the country.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Minh Hang highly appreciated the outstanding contributions of Mr. Ly Duc Trung during his tenure as Ambassador to Israel. The Deputy Minister emphasized that with a broad international relations foundation, crisis management capability, and multilateral coordination experience, Mr. Ly Duc Trung will be a crucial factor in helping the Secretariat effectively implement tasks related to content preparation, agenda coordination, logistics, partner connections, and situation handling for the APEC Year, which features a large scale and high activity density.
