From June 29 to July 3, at the invitation of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, a delegation of distinguished teachers and students from the Lao - Vietnam Bilingual School Nguyen Du embarked on a visit to experience the culture and history of Vietnam in the provinces and cities of Quang Tri, Hue, and Da Nang.

On the morning of June 29, Mr. Dang Thanh Phuong, Deputy Head of the People's External Relations Department, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Le Cong Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, welcomed the delegation at the Lao Bao International Border Gate.
Accompanying the delegation were Mr. Le Van Mui, Vice Chairman of the General Association of Vietnamese in Laos, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Vientiane, Head of the Management Board of the Lao - Vietnam Bilingual School Nguyen Du; Ms. Sivanheuang Phengkhammay (Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong), Principal of the Lao - Vietnam Bilingual School Nguyen Du… and over 30 distinguished teachers and students from the school.
Continuing the program, the delegation offered incense at the following locations: Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery, and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel.
Concluding the cultural and historical educational activities in Quang Tri province, the delegation of distinguished teachers and students from the Lao - Vietnam Bilingual School Nguyen Du moved to Hue City to continue their visit and experience of Vietnamese culture and history.
The activities aim to provide opportunities for overseas teachers and students to visit and learn about the cultural heritage and historical sites of the country, participate in activities paying tribute to previous generations; thereby educating about revolutionary traditions, patriotism, and gratitude towards previous generations. It also aims to enhance the sense of responsibility among overseas Vietnamese in promoting the culture, history, and people of Vietnam, while preserving and maintaining the cultural identity of the Vietnamese community abroad.

Additionally, the program contributes to fostering and enhancing the awareness of overseas teachers and students about the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos, and Laos and Vietnam. It helps the younger generation understand more about the historical value, strategic significance, and responsibility to continue preserving and nurturing the special relationship built by President Ho Chi Minh, President Kaysone Phomvihane, President Souphanouvong, and the leaders and people of both countries.
Through exchanges, meetings, and practical experiences, the program also strengthens the solidarity and friendship between the peoples of the two countries, affirming the consistent policy of the Party and State that considers the overseas Vietnamese community as an inseparable part of the Vietnamese national community.
