Vietnamese Ambassador in Greece welcomes and works with Lao Cai Province delegation
WVR - On June 22, Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong, along with Mr. Gavrill Petridis, Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Piraeus, welcomed and worked with the delegation from Lao Cai Province.

The delegation was led by Ms Giang Thi Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the 16th National Assembly Delegation of Lao Cai Province, as part of their visit to Greece from June 21-30.
During the meeting, Ms Giang Thi Dung provided an overview of the socio-economic development of Lao Cai Province. She also shared the potential, strengths, and cooperation needs of the locality in fields such as tourism, education and training, science and technology, and agriculture.
Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong highly appreciated the development achievements of Lao Cai Province. She also shared information about the cooperation between Vietnam and Greece and proposed specific content to promote cooperation between Lao Cai Province and Greece in exporting agricultural products, with cinnamon being a strength; cooperation in tourism; training human resources and supplying labor for the Greek market; introducing and attracting Greek investors to Lao Cai Province; and promoting Lao Cai to the Greek market. She also emphasized connecting with Greek partners in areas of mutual interest.

Mr. Gavrill expressed interest in the investment, trade, and tourism cooperation potential of Lao Cai Province and affirmed his readiness to support connecting Greek businesses and partners with the locality.
The meeting took place in an open and substantive atmosphere, enhancing the connection between Lao Cai Province and Greek partners, and promoting economic, trade, investment cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges in the coming time.
